Her hands pulled at the stubborn string until she managed to remove it. In all this time she heard what he spoke to her and smirked. Then, looked at him once more. "Are you serious?," she said holding back a slight laugh. She didn't want to say anything until he answered and looked at him through curious eyes.

Damien smiled towards her, with his blue eyes looking past her shoulder. Sometimes he swore he had A.D.D. Behind her was a student who had just tripped over their own feet. They scrammbled up, hoping to go unnoticed and made their way out of the castle. Damien again, had to contain the urge to laugh at the girl. It was things like that that somehow made him burst out in laughter. Why? Who knew, he had just had an odd sense of humor.
He returned his glance back towards her and tried his best to remember what they were talking about. Oh yeah.. "Depends, are you serious?" He laughed a little. "Because if you're being serious, well then, so am I. But if you're not being serious, well then, I was joking too." He half smiled and ran his right hand through his hair.

Her big eyes looked at him confussed, slightly. She had meant something different then what he said. "I mean do you seriously think I'm going to tell you what I plan to do," she laughed slightly. "I'm not going to tell you..." she said with a touch of amusement in her voice.

Boy was he brilliant or what? He couldn't even have a little conversation with someone without getting all confused. So how in the world did he get in Ravenclaw? Well, he was pretty good when it came to school work, but as far as the real world came, he had no common sense. He was a little slow and everything had to be basically spelled out for him.
He laughed at his stupidity and quickly ran his hand through his hair. "Well I won't let you get the chance to be able to do anything in the first place. You'll never be able to stop me anyway." He sounded like an evil villian on those muggle cartoons he used to watch every Saturday morning. The annoying kind of villian that spent half of the show explaining his diabolical plan when everyone knew he was going to be defeated anyway.

Her eyes became even bigger with the expression on her face. It was one of shock, to the boys answer and then one of amusment. She liked his personality, he was different from all the others she had met, so far. "We sound so sure of ourself," she replied with a small smile.

Damien smiled at the expression on her face. He had been wondering why he was put in Ravenclaw when he should have been wondering how this girl was placed in Slytherin. She sure didn't seem to have the Slytherin attitude, since most of them wouldn't have given him the chance to speak until they were away from their friends, but she was willing to talk to him in public. Talk about not normal...
"Well I'm not going to give into you." He smiled. "You think you can just make me give in, but nope, I'm not falling for it." He stuck out his chest a little, to make himself seem some what tougher, and a little taller if he could. It didn't last long before he went into a fit of laughter. He along with everyone else knew he was about as harmless as they come.

Itzel knew she wasn't like the rest of her house. She had only met about four of them and even though there had to be a reason to her placement she hadn't figured it out, yet. It was probably because her evil side only came out with those she didn't like. And, so far at this school nobody had given her reason to bring out that side but there was no doubt, she had it in her.
She laughed even more at his attempt to look tuff. "I can take you, come on," she said inbetween laughs. She streched out her arm and then flexed her thin arm. There was something there but she didn't mean that she was actually going to fight him. She was merely making fun of his reaction. "Look at this muscle," she said, as she poked her arm with the other hand.

If only Damien was a little taller he may have been able to pull the tough scheme off, but since at average stance he was still shorter than some third years, it looked pretty funny. He had his father's side to blame for the height, his mother being a few inches taller than him. Being short actually had its advantages. You could get past a crowd of people without being noticed. Fantastic.
He laughed at her attempt to make a muscle show when she flexed. He was actually relieved that she didn't really have anything to show. Those body building chicks on television always freaked him out. Or maybe it was the thought that they could kick his ass in an instant that scared him the most.
Now, to make up for his height, he worked out on a daily basis, so muscles was something he didn't lack. He flexed and pulled up the sleeve of his shirt. "Oh what now? I know, it just makes you speechless." He flashed a smile. "I don't think you could take me on." He chuckled.

Even though Damien was shoter then the average guy, he was still taller then Itzel. She wasn't too tall herself. She always thought she was average for being a girl, though. Itzel knew she wouldn't have liked to be one of those 6 foot tall girl. That just seemed too tall for her her being a small girl and all.
She saw as he showed his muscle. Her mouth went slightly to the side as she thought of something good to say back to that. She looked away "There not that big," she laughed, cause they were but she just didn't want to admit it. "I still think, I can take you on," she said as she looked back at him.

Damien laughed a little at her reaction. From a guy that was vertically challenged, most didn't expect the whole big muscle thing. He had tried pretty hard to make up for his height, and the best way to do that was to be kind of strong. Yeah, kind of.
"Not that big? Ha, you're just jealous." He smiled at her and put his arm back down to his side. He laughed. "Well then, come on. You can talk, but can you actually do it?" He asked with raised brows.

"Jealous?," she questioned him. " Me," she said with a smile as she pointed to herself. "Nooo...," she dragged it out a little longer then usual, being sarcastic about it. Her eyes followed his hands as they went to his side. She heard his question and looked at him slightly confused. Was he serious? Did he really want her to hit him? and hurt him? or at least attempt to hurt him cause she couldn't actually do any damamge to him. "Hmm... I would but I'd hurt you too bad," she said as she relaxed her arms and lead them to her side.

Damien smiled at the confused expression on her face. No, he didn't want her to hit him. Seeing as how anyone could probably take him down with a little shove. Ok, so he had the muscle, but that didn't mean anything. The height was still in issue in this case and he could barely hold himself up half the time. That would explain the dawdling around all the time..
He noticed her sarcastic tone and put on a dramatic look of toughness to look a little dominating, or sure of himself. He pushed out his chest, like those guys with rock solid abs do, and did his pathetic excuse for a Ravenclaw smirk. He tried holding his breath to make it look a little more believing, but after a few moments, decided that breathing was better than not.
"Oh I doubt that." He smiled. "I once beat up this guy three times my size for thinking he could call me Damnien." When he was younger a guy had called him Damnien (which wasn't that good of an insult to start with), but Damien never beat him up. On the contrary, he ran away, scared out of his wits. Itzel smiled back at Damien when she saw his reaction to the lack of breathing. She barely knew him but she knew he'd be great fun to hang around with. He could make her laugh, which was rare something not many people could do. She could tell they'd become friends.
"Really?," she laughed when he said Damnien, it was a funny way. "Three times your size," she smiled in a litttle bit of disbelieve. "Are you sure? Or are you exagurating just a little?," she questioned, trying to squeeze the truth out of him.

Damien tried his best to not laugh, knowing his story was anything but believeable. He crossed his arms roughly across his chest and leaned himself back against the wall before he lost his balance. Being coordinated wasn't his strong suit. He cocked his head to the side to move his hair from out of his face as he raised both of his brows in a demeaning manner.
"Exagerating? No! I'm being 100% honest. I threw him up against the wall and punched his head in." Again, Damien was careful not laugh and said this with a straight face. "Like this." He gently pushed her against the wall, reinacting the untrue scene, and raised his fist. That was when he blew his cover. As he looked down at her, he burst out laughing and lowered his fist. Itzel was close enough to the wall to where it wasn't that big of a push to the wall. It was still a push, though, and she looked at him slightly shocked but didn't say anything and waited to see what he did next. She realized he was only messing with her and then began to laughed when he did. "See you did it again," she said as she looked at him. "Trying to trick me."
