Give me a reason for me to believe in [Elijah]

[Eleanor Smith]

Ellie took off her robes and changed out of her school skirt into a short black demin one. She couldn't be bothered ot change her blouse, it wasn't a bad one anyway. She let her hair down from the ponytail and picked up her bag again.

She walked down the stairs to the Library and pulled out a book. She put it back in it's place and then sat on her usual window seat to do some of her homework in peace.......

Secret number one, Elijah would sometimes sneak out of the common room and head to the library to read or just sit around to relax without people bothering him. If anyone knew that, they'd probably think of some pretty good nicknames to call him. It was one of those times that he was completely bored and the library seemed like a pretty good option, so he decided to go there. When he arrived, his thumbs in his front pockets, he noticed a girl by the window, immediately noticing her as the Ravenclaw girl he had somehow fallen for. He cautiously walked over to her, knowing the last time they had spoken he had told her how he felt. Talk about awkward. "Erm, hey Ellie." He said.

[Eleanor Smith]

Ellie looked up from her book at the voice, Elijah. If life was confusing when one person liked you, try having two, and one of who was standing right in front of you.

"Umm Heys" she said with a smile, moving her bag so he could sit down. She had her charms essay on her lap which was glistening with ink from just being finished. She tucked her hair behind her ear and fiddled with it slightly, she just couldn't get out of the habit. "What's up?" she asked as a way of making conversation....

Elijah hesitantly sat down where her bag had been, and gave a friendly smile. He glanced over at her essay, skimming through it, then faced her. "Not much, just walking around and thought I'd come in here." He replied. "What about you?" He asked.

[Eleanor Smith]

"Homework" she replied, "I didn't think the Library was your scene" She added,rolling up her essay and ealing it with her wand, then putting it in her bag. She loked through a small notebook, glad to see she'd done everything now. She turned on the window seat and leant against the wall of the bay window, bringing her knees up. "Have you got a costume for Hallowe'en yet?" she asked.

Elijah gave a small smile at her comment. "I come here sometimes, reading isn't all bad. I just don't tell many people I hang out in this place when I'm bored." He replied. He had completely forgotten about Halloween, and he had never been the best at coming up with costumes. "Hmm not yet. Any ideas?" He asked.

[Eleanor Smith]

Ellie smiled, "Everyone knows I spend my time in here so..."

She picked at the hem of her jeans, her costume was a secret, it wasn't big but still. "You'll have to wait and see like everyone else." She replied with another smile, she still had to finish the wings to hrs, but the rest was sorted.

[Elijah Potter]

Elijah smiled. "I'm not a very patient person." He replied. He had no idea what he should go as, but knew he'd come up with something eventually. If he even ended up going to the party.

[Eleanor Smith]

"Tough, you still have to wait like everyone else, Summer doesn't even know" She replied, she was stubborn enough not to give in easily. She braided some of her hair with her fingers and waited for his reply

[Elijah Potter]

"Well it must be a pretty good one then." He replied with his charming smile. After a moment of silence he finally had to ask a question that had been on his mind for quite some time now, "Erm, so last time we talked--I mean--have you thought about it any? He asked, not wanting to push it too much.

[Eleanor Smith]

She shook her head, "Not really, I just feel like keeping it a secret" She shrugged it off.

She had been wondering if he would ask, and hoping he wouldn't. She had thought about it a lot, and her situation was still the same, confused. "Yeah, of course I have"

[Elijah Potter]

Elijah gave an awkward smile. He wasn't sure if he was in for good news, or bad. For all he knew she probably hadn't come to a decision about anything yet. "And has anything changed?" He asked.

[Eleanor Smith]

"Yes and no" She had already liked him, and her situation with others had changed aswell, so? She wasn't sure what was going on, did she like Elijah or Darius? What if it was both? How could she say no to one and yes to another? It was confusing

[Elijah Potter]

Elijah rubbed his arm and ruffled his hair. He wasn't sure how to respond to that and the whole conversation seemed kind of awkward. "So how've you been lately?" He asked, trying his best to change the subject.[/color]

[Eleanor Smith]

She shrugged, "Same as, you?" She asked, glad they had a change of subject, that previous conversation was the most arkward she had ever had. Her life currently? Homework, problems, more homework and a bit of confusing thinking!
