After the Ball [Pierre and other slytherins]

[Jaxxon Malfoy]

It was the day after the ball, Jaxxon had had a great time, but all through there had been the nervous suspicion that something was going to happen to him. He knew he'd angered the other Slytherins, and that they thought he was going soft and had something wrong with him.

He was pleased that there had been no conflict at the time of the ball, that would have caused problems, Kiera being there and all, and having bruises on the night of the ball always wasn't the best of things. He just hoped there'd be no cause for them to attack him now but he worried still.

Jaxxon walked down the gravel path, to the lawn, fresh air might calm him a little. He didn't like non magical fights all that much, he was physically a weakling. He had thin arms, legs and torso, he was just naturally skinny. He knew that most people could out fight him and that made him very scared.

Pierre slouched with his hands in the pockets of his hoodie, he was in ripped jeans and old Etnies. He walked down the sloping lawns, his eyes hidden behind his hair but if visible you would see he was deep in thought. Three guesses who about. Jaxxon.

He had come to some explanations. Jaxoxn hated them and was trying to annoy them or show them by going against every unwritten rule possible. Or he liked Kiera, bad and didnt care what they though, she had put a spell on him, (not quite so likely) or he had an unknown plan to get the goody-two-shoes.

He continued to think, he muttered a song under his breath as his ankles were brushed by wet grass through the holes in his jeans. He wasn't paying attention to where he was going and ended up bumping into someone...

Jaxxon was pondering all of this when Pierre walked into him, seemingly also deep in thought.

Great.

Jaxxon thought desperately.

Just the person I wanted to see, the night after the ball.

Pierre was one of the people who had confronted Jaxxon about Kiera last night, and he was pretty much likely to want to know why he'd gone there with her today.

Jaxxon looked nervously at Pierre, waiting for the imminent confrontation.

Pierre looked up from the ground and snapped out of thought, of all the people he had bumped into, it was Jaxxon.

"Hey" he said, transfering his weight to his back foot, his hands in his pockets, he wasn't going to make a scene... yet......

Jaxxon's pumping heart slowed when it seemed Pierre wasn't going to do anything.

Thank God for that.

Jaxxon thought, hoping he wasn't thinking too soon. He took a deep breath, relaxing slightly, and looking up at Pierre, who was slightly taller than him. Jaxxon's dark brown eyes, studied the face, looking for signs of conflict, or anything that could be dangerous.

"Hello." He said.

Pierre watched Jaxxon, he seemed a bit edgy, probably thought Pierre would beat the hell out of him, he didn't want too, he just wanted answers preferably.

"Have fun at that ball thing last night?" he asked

Yeah, here come the questions.

Jaxxon thought. He knew they'd be coming, he'd answer truthfully and get whatever was coming to him. "Yeah, I had a great time, or I would have, had you not be glaring at me the whole night? I mean what was wrong with me?"[/size]

Pierre resisted rolling his eyes. "Jaxxon, you were at the ball with miss goody-two-shoes Kiera Williams, Ravenclaw, and if just being at something like that with her wasn't shamefulenough, considering it was voluntary, you were dancing with her AND you kissed her. I've heard the rumours Jaxxon, what is up with you?" Pierre asked, almost worried.

He took his hands fromhis pockets and ran one through his hair, "I just don't get it Jaxxon"

[/size]Jaxxon groaned a little, quietly. "Pierre, you wouldn't understand. You're a slytherin."

HE paused and continued, "I met her in a Ballroom, and I mean that was what I thought to begin with, but then we danced, and it was like love at first sight. So I asked her to the ball."

Pierre wasn't going to understand was he? "You don't get it, I don't get why I need to be questioned like this!"[/color][/size]

Pierre wasn't sure but nothing could be gained from fighting with Jaxxon, "I would understand, I might be in the same situation" he admitted, "'Cept mines even worse"

Pierre had only discovered it earlier that day but it scared him, he didn't want the feeing, maybe Jaxxon did but he didn't. "I just wanted an answer, it's fine if it's just your feelings but you should have expected us all to react this way" he said

Jaxxon calmed a little as he realised it was unlikely that he'd be attacked by Pierre now, but there was always the chance of another Slytherin guy doing so. There were too many of them, to be always free from the problem of fighting.

"Hypocrite." Jaxxon muttered just loud enough to hear. "I think she likes me back, and I don't care if I shame the Slytherin house, just warning you here. I knew you'd react like that, but you didn't have to ruin the night."[/size]

Pierre felt slightly guilty, "I didn't feel that way last night, I only realised I might earlier." he defended himself. "I know you don't but still you want to watch your back or the others will be after you, I don't think Ryan will so much but..."

"I don't see how I ruined the night, I glared yeah but I didn't go punch your nose in, I could have done worse and you know it Jaxxon Malfoy" He said, reminding him of the time in second year when Jaxxon was in the Hospital wing with a broken nose and jaw

Jaxxon smirked, was Pierre possibly falling for a Gryffindor, that was the only sort worse in his eyes than a Ravenclaw? "Yeah I'll do that." He said.

"You made us both feel uncomfortable, and what was the point? You could have left us be." Jaxxon said squaring up to Pierre, which would have been quite funny because Jaxxon was shorter than Pierre, but squaring up made him seem a little bigger.[/size]

Pierre shrugged, not feeling a threat from Jaxxon, Pierre was just as good at spellwork and duelling and he was a better fighter. "I could have done yes, but I didn't Pierre, and you would have odne the same if we had switched roles so stop acting like an innocent victim!" he said, slight anger in his words.

Jaxoxn made it sound like there was no reason behind Pierre's behaviour, any of the group would have done it and he damn well knew it

Jaxxon knew he was seen as a bit of a weakling right now by the Slytherins, in spellwork they were mostly as strong as him, but it natural body strength, he was in no way comparable to them.

"Oh yeah, you think I would have made one of you feel that uncomfortable on a first date with someone." he lied through his teeth. "I'm innocent whatever you say."
